St. Augustine's romantic evening views

  • Bring a picnic to the Castillo de San Marcos grassy grounds overlooking the Intracoastal. It is a perfect place to relax in each other’s company and arms, and perhaps share a love letter.
  • Experience the breathtaking sunset as you sail along historic St. Augustine Bay front  with St. Augustine Sailing and experience a 4 course meal that is finely curated by a private chef with incredible attention to detail. 
  • Freedom Park is a very romantic walk at sunset  with benches to see the spectacular views, and a mailbox filled with love letters, pens and paper, to read and perhaps even write a love letter to share. Along the way on Riberia St. there are also horses to visit with.
  • Be immersed in the night air together and experience the magic of bioluminescence while you kayak in Guana State Park at night with Geotripping Adventure Company. The moonlit views of the park are stunning. We were in complete awe as we held bioluminescence in the palm of our hands.
  • Climb the lighthouse at night as the moon rises and sun sets over St. Augustine. Sip on champagne and take in the spectacular view at St. Augustine Lighthouse.

Their gourmet food is cooked to perfection and we have eaten almost everything on the menu and recommend the Saddleback Pork Chop—featuring sumac, fennel chutney, apple salad, and rich pork jus—as a standout.

  • Michaels Tasting Room shares excellent steaks and seafood, led by acclaimed chef Michael Lugo, in the beautiful setting of Vilano Beach. Often accompanied by piano, this cozy and romantically lit restaurant will impress you with their menu and food.
